Our Story
To splash.
The word ‘pudel’ stems from the German word ‘pudeln’, which means ‘to splash in water’.
We took it for the moment a dog is most itself: in the water, chasing something, completely absorbed in being alive.
It's the moment you stop and watch because you're glad to be there for it.
Pudel started with a habit we couldn't shake — reading the back of a bag, googling ingredients we didn't recognise, and putting it back knowing it just wasn't good enough.
That's who we make this for.
Not the performance. Not the training outcome. The animal being itself, and their person who wouldn't have it any other way.
So, we keep the food as honest as the moment. Real Australian ingredients prepared simply with nothing on the label you'd need to look up.
