Beef liver is the classic training treat, and for good reason. It carries retinol (the active form of vitamin A), copper and B12, and dries into a soft piece that breaks cleanly into small rewards. Selective eaters usually make an exception for it.
Organ meat is rich, so feed in moderation.

Suitable for
All breeds from 12 weeks. Soft enough for puppies and senior dogs. Liver is rich, so keep it to a few small pieces a day inside the 10% rule.

Feeding
Treats are a reward, not a meal. Keep all treats to about 10% of your dog's daily food, and a little less for liver, which is rich. Feed alongside their regular diet with fresh water out.
